On 31st December 2008, Ike & Chinwe Nwaobasi made a commitment to
support kids from any part of the world to get quality education.
Years later, JONEF, Inc. was registered in Texas as non-profit organization with a mission
to assist students from impoverished communities who have little or no means
to obtain a proper education and provide other types of empowerments.

Years later, JONEF, Inc. was registered in Texas as non-profit organization with a mission

to obtain a proper education and provide other types of empowerments.
The foundation named after Late Mrs. Josephine Nwaobasi, who was not allowed opportunity to obtain an education because she was diligent and dutiful little girl. But through personal efforts and with a copy of the Bible and the Anglican Church Hymnal, the young woman taught herself how to read and write and later in life served as the secretary of several organizations she belonged to.
Hard work and diligence apparently cost Josephine Nwaobasi formal education and yet through personal determination and love for self-improvement, she was able to read and write.
This foundation in her honor is to provide support to students, especially females, who for no fault of theirs do not have the opportunity and means to get a proper education.
